Pay

HK$ 34,070 to HK$ 57,842 per month (HGPS PT 13 – 24) including Monthly Allowance

Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff at the end of each 3 years during the 9-year contract period subject to satisfactory performance.

Key Responsibilities

1.  Perform clinical laboratory tests and examinations on various types of pathological specimens in connection with the diagnosis and control of diseases.

2.     Assist in technical and administrative duties.

Entry Requirements

1.     BSc in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent; and

2.    Be a registered Part I or II Medical Laboratory Technologist and have a valid Practising Certificate under the Allied Health Professions Ordinance.

2.    Applicants who are expected to :

a)   graduate from the BSc in Medical Laboratory Science from a local university (or equivalent) in 2026 and

b)  be a registered Part II Medical Laboratory Technologist and have a valid Practising Certificate under the Allied Health Professions Ordinance in 2026

may also apply. If selected, their appointment will be subject to their having satisfied all the appointment requirements.
