The Cytotechnologist will:

The Cytotechnologist will:

  • Receive and prepare specimens for technical and diagnostic procedures.
  • Work with stains, mounts and labels slides and matches them exactly with corresponding requisition forms.
  • Process all non-gyn specimens so that maximum cellular component is deposited on glass slides.
  • Assist Physicians in obtaining and evaluating the sample collection procedures done at patient bedside.
  • Perform slide interpretation.
  • Prepare and maintain reagents necessary to carry out duties.
  • Answer telephones for department, relays result and other information related to test procedures.

Requirements:
β€’ Associate degree with science/biology and one year in approved program of training/experience or equivalent.
β€’ Meet CLIA requirement for Cytotechnologist.

Salary Range:Β 29.49 - 47.18 USD

We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.

The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
