Cytotechnologist
ProvidenceCytotechnologist at Providence Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, CA. This position is per-diem and will work 8-hour, Day shifts.

Primary function is the collection and preparation of patient specimens for microscopic study and evaluation by screening slide preparation of abnormalities in cellular structure to assist in the diagnosis of diseases.

Required Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree Or
- Coursework/Training and At least 60 semester hours academic credit in biologic sciences.
- Coursework/Training and Successful completion of twelve month CAHEA accredited Cytotechnology program, or equivalent. Or equivalent educ/experience
- Upon hire: California Cytotechnologist License
- 1 year of Cytology in broad range of specimens - cytology preparatory techniques, microscopic analysis.
Preferred Qualification:
- 2 years of Clinical laboratory.
