Minerva Imaging is at the forefront of R&D in the theragnostic area advancing new, improved and lifesaving drugs for cancer patients. We specialize in research into cancer and cardiovascular diseases. We have both a small animal unit with mice and rats as well as a large animal unit with pigs, dogs and rabbits. We have a culture of care, which ensures our commitment to continuously improve the conditions for the laboratory animals in our care - in addition to legal requirements.
The studies we carry out may aim to investigate the distribution of radioactive substances in the body after administration and the effect of the substances on different types of cancer. For our studies, we often use advanced imaging techniques.
We are looking for a laboratory technician intern for our dynamic imaging team. The imaging team operates as a central core function across small and large animal pharmacology departments supporting studies using various advanced imaging modalities.
As a laboratory technician intern, you will play a big role in our efforts to become “Imaging Centric” - the preferred partner for global pharma and biotech companies for translational imaging studies.
About the position
As a laboratory technician intern at Minerva Imaging, you will be a member of our imaging department dedicated to accelerating translational drug development programs with molecular imaging. The position is in a dynamic and exciting team of dedicated technicians and scientists collaborating closely in the team as well as across departments on timely conducting of imaging studies delivering high-quality data. You will work with cutting-edge molecular imaging equipment like PET/SPECT/CT, MRI, ultrasound, and autoradiography in our new state-of-the-art facility where we continuously expand our capabilities.
Collaboration is one of the cornerstones of our values, so you will also find that you will never be completely alone with tasks. There is always help and sparring to be had from an experienced laboratory technician or your supervisor. You will be part of an experienced team, and your role will, among other things, include:

*About radioactivity at Minerva Imaging: We have guidelines in place that follow the legislation in the area. We work with small quantities and under controlled conditions, so you can feel safe in your work.
*We expect you to participate at the mandatory FELASA course which we will offer.
