**Title**: Medical Laboratory Technologist – Hematology
**Schedule**:
- Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- Varies (requires every other weekend rotation)
**Assignment Details**:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 Weekly
**Requirements**:
- CORE Lab experience, particularly in Hematology
- Experience with Sysmex and CellaVision systems
- Previous experience in a large hospital laboratory (600+ beds)
- Familiarity with complex sample management, including turbid specimens, platelet clumps, and abnormal cell findings
- Competence in performing differentials accurately
**Roles & Responsibilities**:
- Perform laboratory tests and analyses in Hematology.
- Ensure accuracy and quality of test results.
- Manage complex samples efficiently.
- Work collaboratively with laboratory staff to maintain workflow.
- Adhere to safety and quality protocols in the laboratory.
