Medical Technologists in Yakima, WA (multiple openings)

Duties: Perform patient analytic laboratory testing, quality control, data analysis, results reporting, instrument maintenance and technical problem resolution. Receive specimens, establish and maintain positive identification of specimens, determine suitability of specimens, acquire/prepare reagents as needed, and perform instrument maintenance and calibration.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, or foreign equivalent
• Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) [or legacy Medical Technologist (MT)] certification or eligibility for certification from either ASCP or AMT

Applicants subject to pre-employment background check. Applicants must be U.S. workers (includes U.S. citizens, permanent residents, foreign nationals granted temporary residence under one of the 1986 legalization programs, refugees, and asylees). 

Salary offered: $44.97 per hour for an average of 40 hours per week.
