Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) / Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS)

This position involves night shifts from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM, providing 40 hours of work per week on a 7/7 rotation.

Job Description

The Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) / Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) will be responsible for performing laboratory tests, analyzing results, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in various laboratory procedures and adhere to safety and quality assurance protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory tests and analyze results.
• Maintain and operate laboratory equipment.
• Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to discuss test results.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current MLT or MLS certification from ASCP.
• State licensure in laboratory services as required.
• Proven experience in a laboratory setting is preferred.
