Job Description

The Clinical Laboratory Technologist will primarily work in the core laboratory, focusing on hematology, urinalysis, and chemistry. This role is mostly bench work with no routine phlebotomy requirements. The ideal candidate should possess a strong technical background, prior experience in high-volume laboratory environments, and the ability to work independently during evening shift operations.

Responsibilities

• Support Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, and Coagulation testing.
• Function independently during evening shift operations.
• Prioritize workload and manage workflow in a high-volume laboratory environment.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation and seek support when necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 4 years of Clinical Laboratory Technologist experience preferred.
• Strong experience in hematology, chemistry, and urinalysis required.
• Valid New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License required.
• Microbiology experience preferred.
