Travel Medical Technologist (ASCP) - Nights

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Nights: 5 shifts per week from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with every other weekend and holiday required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Medical Technologist to perform a wide range of laboratory tests in chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, microbiology, and blood bank. The ideal candidate will have experience as a laboratory generalist and must be comfortable floating between laboratories as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing in various laboratory areas including chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, microbiology, and blood bank.
• Perform phlebotomy procedures as required.
• Adhere to all laboratory protocols and policies while ensuring the highest quality of care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members and maintain accurate documentation using the Cerner EMR system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1-2 years of laboratory generalist experience is required.
• Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Technologist (MT) certification preferred.
• Must be willing to float between RHS and MTH laboratories.
