Job Description

The Laboratory Technician performs assigned analyses and reports results according to established procedures and regulations. The role involves maintaining quality control and equipment as per specified instructions and schedules. The technician correlates laboratory results with clinical findings through chart reviews and consultations with nursing and medical staff, and may also perform receptionist and phlebotomy tasks. Compliance with all applicable state and federal laws, regulations, and policies governing the provision of health care is essential.

Responsibilities

• Correlate laboratory results with clinical findings through chart review and consultation.
• Perform receptionist and phlebotomist tasks as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Relevant certifications and experience in a laboratory setting may be required.
