This position requires a nights shift from 3:00 PM to 3:30 AM.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

The Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) will perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures, ensuring adherence to quality standards. The successful candidate will work primarily in the areas of Hematology, Chemistry, Urinalysis, Blood Bank, and Gram Stains.

Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory tests in Hematology, Chemistry, Urinalysis, Blood Bank, and Gram Stains.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment including Sysmex XN-1000, Siemens CA-660, Siemens Dimension EXL, and Ortho manual gel.
• Record and analyze test results, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Preferred MLT (ASCP/AMT) certification.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
