Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Travel Medical Technologist with a focus on Blood Bank operations. This role requires a certified medical technologist to perform analytic testing, troubleshoot instrument issues, and interact with stakeholders to confirm orders and communicate critical results.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytic testing using standard laboratory instrumentation.
• Review and release test results accurately.
• Troubleshoot instrument issues as they arise.
• Communicate with clinical staff regarding critical values and confirm orders.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 6 months of current acute care hospital experience as a Medical Technologist.
• Certification as a Medical Lab Scientist (MLS(ASCP)) or Medical Lab Technician (MLT(ASCP)) is required.
• Blood Bank experience is preferred.
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR is a plus.
