Schedule Details: This is a 1st/2nd shift pool position. Shifts will be 4-8hrs in length with a variable start time based on department needs Monday- Friday between 0800-2000 and on Saturday between 0800-1200. There are no holidays hours associated with this role. The new employee will train, if possible, fulltime for 4-6 weeks to learn the hematology, coag, specimen processing and UA benches. Training will occur at our Waukesha location to cover hematology and body fluids.

ProHealth Care offers a system-wide laboratory operation with core hospital labs at Waukesha Memorial and Oconomowoc Memorial as well as two clinic-based laboratory sites in Waukesha County. The laboratory performs over 8 million tests annually.
Our Lab services operate state of the art facilities and include clinical testing in the areas of Histology, Cytology, Hematology, Coagulation, Clinical Chemistry, Urinalysis, Immunoassay, Microbiology, Transfusion service, EIA, and Molecular Biology. ProHealth Care offers a vibrant outreach program, providing laboratory testing to numerous specialty hospitals, physician offices, nursing home, and assisted living facilities. Our Pathologists and PhDs work closely with lab employees to monitor quality, as well as identify, access, and implement new technology. The Laboratory has certification and accreditation through the College of American Pathologists (CAP), American Association of Blood Banks (AABB) and Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act (CLIA).
Medical Technologists or Medical Laboratory Scientists perform moderate to high complexity testing within the Clinical Laboratory. The role prepares samples for examination using automated equipment and specialized instrumentation. MT/MLS perform numerous complicated tests simultaneously and accurately evaluate, correlate and interpret test results.
