Key Responsibilities<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Microbial Testing<\/span><\/b>:<\/span>
<\/p>

o <\/span><\/span><\/span>Conduct microbiological tests on raw materials, in -process products, and finished goods to ensure they meet company standards and regulatory requirements.<\/span>
<\/p>

o <\/span><\/span><\/span>Monitor and maintain accurate records of microbiological test results and trends.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Quality Control<\/span><\/b>:<\/span>
<\/p>

o <\/span><\/span><\/span>Collaborate with the Quality Control team to implement and enforce food safety standards.<\/span>
<\/p>

o <\/span><\/span><\/span>Perform routine testing for pathogens, spoilage organisms, and allergens in products and raw materials.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Hygiene and Sanitation<\/span><\/b>:<\/span>
<\/p>

o <\/span><\/span><\/span>Oversee and perform regular environmental monitoring of the production areas to ensure compliance with sanitation and hygiene protocols.<\/span>
<\/p>

o <\/span><\/span><\/span>Conduct microbiological analysis of water, air, and surfaces in the manufacturing facility to prevent contamination.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Research and Development<\/span><\/b>:<\/span>
<\/p>

o <\/span><\/span><\/span>Support product development and innovation by conducting microbiological research to improve food preservation techniques, shelf life, and safety.<\/span>
<\/p>

o <\/span><\/span><\/span>Collaborate with R&D teams to troubleshoot microbiological issues and propose corrective actions.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Compliance<\/span><\/b>:<\/span>
<\/p>

o <\/span><\/span><\/span>Ensure that all microbiological activities adhere to local and international food safety regulations and industry best practices.<\/span>
<\/p>

o <\/span><\/span><\/span>Prepare and submit reports on microbiological findings to regulatory bodies when required.<\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>

Requirements<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Education<\/span><\/b>: HND or bachelor’s degree in microbiology, Food Science, or a related field.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Experience<\/span><\/b>: Minimum of 2 -3 years in a microbiology or food safety role, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Skills<\/span><\/b>: Strong knowledge of microbiological techniques, laboratory equipment, and food safety regulations. Attention to detail and ability to analyze complex data.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Location<\/span><\/b>: Must be willing to work in Idanre, Ondo State.<\/span>
