Description
  1. Finished Product, Sanitation , Hand Swab Sample , Wtp-Process Area , RM-PM Micro Testing as Per Microbiological Control Plan & Keeping In-Check Micro Count As Per Limit
  2. Gmp & Personal Hygiene Regulation In-Plant.
  3.  Maintaining the Document Of Sample Tested, Checklists.


Responsibilities
  • Perform microbial testing and analysis on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Implement and maintain effective sampling and testing protocols, including media preparation, storage, plating, incubation, and air monitoring.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as hot air ovens, hot plates, incubators, and LAFBs, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
  • Interpret and report test results accurately, identifying potential issues and recommending corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and quality assurance, to resolve microbial-related issues and implement preventive measures.
  • Develop and validate new microbial testing methods and procedures to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of our quality control processes.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in microbiology, implementing any necessary changes to our testing protocols.
  • Train and mentor junior staff on proper sampling techniques, equipment handling, and laboratory safety practices.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all testing activities, ensuring compliance with internal and external auditing requirements.
  • Support the investigation and resolution of customer complaints related to microbial issues, providing expert insights and recommendations.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Microbiology, Food Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a microbiology laboratory, preferably in the food or beverage industry.
  • Strong knowledge of media preparation, storage, sampling, plating, incubation, and air monitoring techniques.
  • Proficiency in handling laboratory equipment, including hot air ovens, hot plates, incubators, and LAFBs.
  • Experience with equipment calibration and maintenance is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and precision in testing and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
