We are seeking a skilled and professional Phlebotomist<\/b> to join a patient -focused team in Austin, TX. This position involves providing exceptional customer service, performing high -quality specimen collections, and supporting accurate laboratory processing. Perform blood collections using venipuncture and capillary techniques across all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity testing, and alcohol testing. Accurately enter patient and billing information. Prepare and process specimens for analysis. Maintain patient and specimen logs with strict attention to detail. Provide an outstanding patient experience in every interaction. Support administrative and clerical tasks as needed. Travel to additional collection sites as required. High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience as a phlebotomist (1+ year preferred). Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency preferred. Experience working with patients from pediatric to geriatric populations. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast -paced environment. Reliable transportation and flexibility to work additional hours as needed. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. MediClear or equivalent HIPAA credential required.
