Phlebotomist

We are seeking a skilled and professional Phlebotomist<\/b> to join a patient -focused team in Austin, TX. This position involves providing exceptional customer service, performing high -quality specimen collections, and supporting accurate laboratory processing.

Key Responsibilities<\/b>
<\/h4>

• Perform blood collections using venipuncture and capillary techniques across all age groups.
  <\/p><\/li>

• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity testing, and alcohol testing.
  <\/p><\/li>

• Accurately enter patient and billing information.
  <\/p><\/li>

• Prepare and process specimens for analysis.
  <\/p><\/li>

• Maintain patient and specimen logs with strict attention to detail.
  <\/p><\/li>

• Provide an outstanding patient experience in every interaction.
  <\/p><\/li>

• Support administrative and clerical tasks as needed.
  <\/p><\/li>

• Travel to additional collection sites as required.
  <\/p><\/li><\/ul>

  Required Qualifications<\/b>
  <\/h4>

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Previous experience as a phlebotomist (1+ year preferred).
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency preferred.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Experience working with patients from pediatric to geriatric populations.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast -paced environment.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Reliable transportation and flexibility to work additional hours as needed.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • MediClear or equivalent HIPAA credential required.
