Key Responsibilities<\/b>

As a Phlebotomist, you will:
<\/p>

• Safely obtain blood specimens from patients of all ages using proper venipuncture and collection techniques.
  <\/p><\/li>

• Follow established protocols to label, process, and prepare specimens for testing or transport.
  <\/p><\/li>

• Maintain accurate patient and specimen records within the electronic health system.
  <\/p><\/li>

• Provide exceptional patient care by ensuring comfort and explaining procedures clearly.
  <\/p><\/li>

• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE)<\/b> and adhere to infection control standards at all times.
  <\/p><\/li>

• Assist laboratory staff with related tasks and support daily workflow as needed.
  <\/p><\/li>

• Walk and stand for extended periods and manage exposure to biohazardous materials.
  <\/p><\/li><\/ul>

  Qualifications<\/b>
  <\/h3>

  • Education:<\/b> High school diploma or GED.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • MediClear or equivalent credential required for consideration.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Experience:<\/b> No previous phlebotomy experience necessary—training provided on site.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Must successfully complete an in -house orientation<\/b> and demonstrate technical competency, including passing a written proficiency test, before drawing specimens independently.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to speak, read, and write English fluently.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail for accurate specimen collection and labeling.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a clinical team.
