Phlebotomist

A confidential healthcare facility<\/b> is seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist<\/b> to support plasma and laboratory operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, excellent patient service skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast -paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities
<\/h4>

• Perform phlebotomy procedures and donor/patient screenings, including vital signs and finger stick testing.
  <\/p><\/li>

• Collect, label, and process blood and plasma samples while ensuring accuracy and quality standards.
  <\/p><\/li>

• Maintain accurate records and documentation using electronic systems.
  <\/p><\/li>

• Greet and assist patients/donors, ensuring a safe and positive experience.
  <\/p><\/li>

• Adhere to all safety, OSHA, and infection -control guidelines, including proper use of PPE.
  <\/p><\/li>

• Support continuous improvement initiatives and report operational issues to supervisors.
  <\/p><\/li>

• Assist with clinic operations such as phone calls, chart preparation, and donor scheduling.

  Qualifications 
  <\/h4>

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • 1+ year of experience<\/b> in a patient -facing role preferred.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • MediClear certification (or equivalent active healthcare compliance credential) is required
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Ability to walk or stand for an entire shift, bend/stoop, and lift up to 32 lbs. (occasionally up to 50 lbs. with devices).
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and customer service.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Basic computer skills and ability to maintain accurate digital records.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
