NATURE OF WORK & RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/span><\/span><\/u><\/b>
<\/span><\/p>

Responsible for collecting blood and urine from patients through the performance of venipuncture, capillary puncture, and other techniques; enters data concerning blood and urine samples, and test information into computer systems; maintains proper inventory of supplies and materials needed for the daily collection; cleans and maintains phlebotomy accessories and other related equipment.  Other duties as assigned.<\/span><\/span>

High School Diploma or equivalent and one year of experience as a Phlebotomist or a certificate in Phlebotomy from a recognized college, school, training program, hospital, health care facility, or the Armed Services.<\/span><\/span>
