Phlebotomy Technician - Phlebotomist

We’re seeking a Phlebotomy Technician<\/b> to provide exceptional laboratory support and patient care in a fast -paced clinical environment. This role is ideal for someone experienced in phlebotomy procedures and committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety, accuracy, and patient service.

Key Responsibilities<\/b>
<\/h4>

• Follow universal blood and body fluid precautions at all times.
  <\/p><\/li>

• Perform venipuncture and skin puncture procedures with precision and care.
  <\/p><\/li>

• Enter patient demographics, test requests, and results in the Laboratory Information System.
  <\/p><\/li>

• Schedule and manage appointments as needed.
  <\/p><\/li>

• Maintain accurate specimen and documentation records.
  <\/p><\/li>

• Communicate effectively with patients and medical staff.
  <\/p><\/li>

• Monitor supply needs and support evaluation of new or improved phlebotomy devices.
  <\/p><\/li>

• Support additional administrative and patient intake functions as required.
  <\/p><\/li><\/ul>

  Required Qualifications<\/b>
  <\/h4>

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Completion of a NAACLS -accredited or equivalent two -part Phlebotomy program is preferred. 
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Phlebotomy Technician after graduation.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • U.S. citizenship required.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and work in a clinical setting.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • MediClear or equivalent HIPAA credential required.
    <\/p><\/li><\/ul>
