Senior Medical Laboratory Scientist

Senior Medical Laboratory Scientist at Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa, CA. This position is Part time and will work 8-hour, Evening shifts. 

In assigned area, is the primary technical resource. Performs lab analyses, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the performance of the daily workload. Performs all work under minimal supervision Assists the Clinical Lab Scientist Supervisor with modifications to workflow and implementation of new instrumentation and methods.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences.
• Upon hire: California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License California, or
• Upon hire: California Clinical Chemist Scientist License, or
• Upon hire: California Clinical Immunohematologist Scientist License, or
• Upon hire: California Clinical Microbiologist Scientist License, or
• Upon hire: California Clinical Toxicologist Scientist License, or,
• Upon hire: California Clinical Cytogeneticist Scientist License, or
• Upon hire: California Clinical Genetic Molecular Biologist Scientist License, or
• Upon hire: California Clinical Hematology Scientist License, or
• Upon hire: California Clinical Histocompatibility Scientist License, or 
• Upon hire: California Clinical Laboratory Scientist Biochemistry Special License 
• 3 years experience in a clinical laboratory in an acute care setting following licensure or certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Supervisory experience.
