Salary Grade: Consultants Scale
Salary Range: £105,750 - £142,178 per annum plus a Clinical Excellence Award Payment
Working Arrangements: Full time - 10 PAs (negotiable)
About the Role:
The States of Guernsey are looking for a Consultant Cellular Pathologist to join the team within Pathology Services.
This is a new post which has been created due to increase in the histopathology workloads and cancer multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings workloads. The suitable candidate will have a special interest in two or three disciplines. Based on the cancer workloads candidates with special interest in urology and skin pathology or GIT and breast pathology are encouraged to apply. However, any other combination of different specialties is also welcome. The successful candidate will work alongside the current Pathologist who reports in a general capacity. There is sufficient cancer and benign workloads in whichever disciplines the candidate has special interest for a full-time post.
