Cytotechnologist/Cytoscreener

King’s College Hospital London – Dubai is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Medical Laboratory Technologist/Cytoscreener to join our multidisciplinary laboratory team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cytology screening, quality assurance, and diagnostic accuracy, supporting the delivery of high‑quality patient care in line with international best practices.

• Perform cytology screening with high diagnostic accuracy, including gynecological and non‑gynecological specimens.
• Review and verify cytology results in accordance with laboratory policies and regulatory standards.
• Ensure full compliance with DHA and international laboratory accreditation standards (e.g., CAP, ISO15189).
• Participate in quality control, quality assurance, and proficiency testing programs.
• Collaborate closely with pathologists and clinical teams to support timely diagnostic workflows.
• Train, mentor, and support junior technologists when required.
• Maintain meticulous documentation and contribute to continuous process improvement.

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent.
• DHA-licensed Cytoscreener or DHA Eligibility Letter as Cytoscreener.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in cytology, cytoscreening, or anatomic pathology.
• Strong technical skills in cytology specimen preparation, staining, and screening.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to diagnostic accuracy.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in a JCI/CAP‑accredited hospital laboratory is an advantage.
