- Maintain instrumentation through QC, calibration, and routine maintenance, flag issues early and follow through on resolution
Workflow & Throughput
- Support daily operations across PCR, immunology, microbiology, chemistry, culture, and hematology to meet TAT goals at 80,000+ test volumes
- Identify bottlenecks and drive process improvements that increase throughput without compromising accuracy; coordinate specimen flow and prioritization to hit daily production targets
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to CLIA, QA, and safety standards in day-to-day bench work
- Maintain accurate documentation, SOP compliance, and data integrity; support inspection readiness and internal audit preparation
Training & Technical Mentorship
- Train and mentor lab staff on testing procedures, troubleshooting, and quality standards; support competency assessments
- Promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, leads by example at the bench, not just in conversation

- 3–5+ years of clinical laboratory experience, including high-complexity testing
- Strong working knowledge of PCR/molecular diagnostics and multi-department lab operations
- Solid understanding of CLIA regulations and quality systems
Preferred
- Prior lead or bench-level supervisory experience in a high-volume laboratory environment
- Hands-on microbiology experience: culture technique, organism identification, susceptibility testing
- Experience with automated and semi-automated instrumentation in a high-throughput setting
- Background in workflow optimization or lab scale-up environments
Skills & Competencies
- Technical depth across multiple lab disciplines
- Strong troubleshooting instincts; comfortable working through ambiguous problems without waiting for someone to hand you the answer
- Clear communicator who can explain technical issues to colleagues and clinicians alike
- Process-minded
- Calm under pressure and effective when the workload spikes
Salary and Shift:
- Salary: $32-$38/hour
- Shift: Monday - Friday; 8:00am - 5:00pm
Why Join Us?
