Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) - Day Shift

Location

Centrally located between the Pacific Northwest beaches and the Olympic National Forest, with easy access to Seattle and Portland, each about a two-hour drive.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day Shift: 0700 - 1530, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours a week, with alternating weekends.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) with specialized experience in various laboratory equipment including Cobas, Sysmex, Stago, Blood Bank, Urinalysis, and limited Microbiology. The ideal candidate will possess a current National MLT license and demonstrate strong teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests and analyses to provide reliable and accurate data for patient diagnoses.
• Utilize specialized laboratory equipment and technology effectively and safely.
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment while ensuring the highest standards of laboratory practices are maintained.
• Manage workload efficiently while adhering to laboratory protocols and safety regulations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current National MLT license required.
• Specialized experience in Cobas, Sysmex, Stago, Blood Bank, Urinalysis, and limited Microbiology.
• Strong team player attitude, with a commitment to excellence in patient care.
