- Grade 12 with Science and Mathematics as subjects (NQF level 4).
- A minimum of one (1) year experience in a pharmaceutical analytical lab in the case of a degree or diploma in analytical chemistry.
- A minimum of one (2) year experience in a pharmaceutical analytical lab in case of Grade 12 (with at least 40% in Mathematics and Science).
KEY FUNCTIONAL/ TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
- Proven knowledge of pharmaceutical analyses.
- Proven knowledge of Pharmaceutical Quality Management Systems (GMP, ISO 17025).
- Ability to do pharmaceutical calculations in order to prepare solutions with set molarity or normality, percentage calculations, basic statistics (average, SD and %RSD), and equivalence calculations.
BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES:
- Hardworking, be able to work as part of a team, and punctual.
- Responsible, accountable and ethical.
REMUNERATION:
The annual total remuneration package will be commensurate with the level of appointment as advertised and in line with the NWU policy guidelines.
