Job Description

The Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) position requires a professional who is flexible regarding alternating day evenings and nights. The ideal candidate will work 40 hours per week on weekdays, ensuring efficient laboratory operations and quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory tests and analyses to provide timely results.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper functioning.
• Adhere to all safety and quality control procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.
• Document and report test results accurately.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience is required.
• ASCP certification is mandatory; ASCP-MLS and BLS certifications are preferred.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.
• Travel experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
