Shift: 08:30 AM - 05:00 PM, Tuesday to Saturday

Job Description

The Clinical Laboratory Scientist will analyze specimens in accordance with established procedures and policies, verifying the appropriateness of samples and applying test procedures accurately. The role involves confirming unusual results and reviewing and reporting all findings in line with laboratory policy to support accurate patient assessments by clinicians.

Responsibilities

• Analyze specimens in accordance with section procedures and policies.
• Confirm the appropriateness of samples and apply test procedures accurately.
• Review and report all results according to laboratory policies.
• Ensure compliance with CLIA 88 requirements for performing high complexity testing.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment effectively.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent.
• Certification as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS NCA), Medical Technologist (MT ASCP), or equivalent.
• Must meet CLIA '88 requirements for high complexity testing.
• Preferred one year of general laboratory experience.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
